Reno Tahoe Geo Associates, Inc. (RTGeo) - formerly MDA - has worked on small and large residential projects for any budget. We have a tremendous amount of experience in the Reno-Tahoe area. Below are just a few featured projects we have worked on.
Snake River Drive, Reno, NV
This residence in Reno, NV was experiencing erosion control issues and contracted MDA to provide a geotechnical foundation soils classification and inspection.
Crystal Pointe in Crystal Bay, NV
This 5.14 acre, lakefront property was constructed with 16,232-square-feet of living space spread across the main house, guest house, beach house and caretaker’s apartment. In 2017 the property was listed at $75 million, making it the most expensive waterfront property ever offered for sale at Lake Tahoe. MDA provided geotechnical engineering, recommendations for design and construction and construction management/special inspections and materials testing for the guest house.
Humbolt Street, Reno, NV
Foundation evaluation for construction of a new addition. MDA observed foundation soil conditions for a new residence addition in Reno, Nevada.
Clemens Road, Virginia City Highlands
MDA was contracted to provide professional opinions regarding the current condition of the foundation, and address erosion of backfill along foundations. We observed the exterior structure of existing foundations and stem-walls and provided our recommendations for corrective measures.
Bear Creek Landscaping; Drainage in Reno, Nevada
Marvin E. Davis & Associates visited a residential site in Reno, NV to evaluate the existing drainage grades around the exterior perimeter of the home and provided a summary of our findings as well as recommendations to improve any areas of concern.
Lakeshore Boulevard, Incline Village, NV
We provided geotechnical, BMP and Soils/Hydro services for this .44 acre lot in Incline Village, NV. Work included working with the TRPA, permitting, explore and evaluate the subsurface conditions at the project site, provide our engineering recommendations for project design and construction, BMP design, and construction special inspection and materials testing.
